       Will the truth it set you free? 
       Depends on who you read 
       While we qualify our blame, 
       We're spewing partiality 

       And we'll never leave the past 
       If we keep leaving out the facts 
       So you can pick what side you're on 
       And you can pick your poison

The politics of Pilate: 
Publicly unpalatable. 
And dare you wash 
Your hands of this? 

The crowds cry, 
Crucify. 
So, you give them 
Barabbas, 

Renegade son 
Of a rabbi? Really!? 
Freeing the guilty 
Won’t solve this. 

We deserve 
A better POTUS. 
But what on earth 
Did you expect? 

This nation was 
Founded on 
The backs of 
Slaves & natives, 

And our prisons 
—whether they be 
Penitentiaries or 
Reservations— 

Are full of their 
Ancestors, generation 
By bloody 
Generation. 

Wise up! 
Politics was 
Never meant 
To save us. 

Biden just proved 
That much 
With his ill- 
Informed statements. 

So, vacate the polls 
& abdicate the vote. 
Our only hope 
Is to overthrow 

The whole backbone 
Of our nation’s very soul. 
You think this country 
Was God-given? 

Just take a look 
At the Declaration 
Of Independence. 
A few white men penned it! 

So, defile your demigod 
Of democracy, 
Disavowing any 
Manifest Destiny; 

As the name 
Itself proclaims, 
It’s nothing more 
Than man-made. 

So, unequivocally, 
This country will never be 
The home of the free 
Until it first again becomes 

The land of the Braves.
